Our Worship

COME AS YOU ARE!

JOIN US FOR WORSHIP SUNDAYS @ 10:30 AM

We love traditonal, we love contemporary, we love the many ways we can praise God together!

As United Methodists we believe worship is vital to the life of the church. The gathering of the people of God for worship is indispensable for Christian fellowship and spiritual growth.

About our Worship Services

Our worship services are open for peolle of all ages, race and gender, who wish to gather in a community of faith that procalims Jesus as is Savior and Lord. A message is given presenting the truth of God's word (Bible) and relating it to everyday life.  We offer a variety of music from our worship team inclduing: Choir, Praise Band, Accompanist, Children's Choir and other special music. There is opportuinty for joys and concerns to be presented (prayer cards available), which are then lifted up in a pastoral prayer for our church, our community, and our world.

Children and Worship

We believe children and youth are an important part of our church family and are welcome to participate in worship service. Children's activity bags are available in the main entry. We also offer each Sunday during worship our children's prorgam, "The Well" for kids ages 4+ (during the school year). A nursery room is open for families behind the front of the sanctuary as well (it is currently not staffed).

Holy Communion

Holy Communion is generally offered the first Sunday of each month, for those who wish to participate. The table is open for all to receive Jesus, both in the bread and the cup. We use whole wheat and gluten-free bread, along with grape juice for our communion elements.  Children may receive at the discretion of parent or guardian.

Baptism

We believe baptism is an outward and visible sign of an inward, spiritual grace. Through baptism we are adopted into the family of God and made part of the body of Jesus Christ. As United Methodists, we practice infant, children and adult (believers) baptism. If you are interested in speaking with our pastor about baptism, please contact the church office at (248) 627-3125 to schedule an appointment.
